Brunch at IHOP before Soren & Rachele head back home
Balloons are so much fun - until they pop - which of course several did. It made the send-off even sadder to see a few of these happy little faces become inconsolable, but it helped when I heard that Curtis was laughing in his sleep on the trip home.
That evening the boys, the dogs and I took a walk along the irrigation ditches. Alex walked the entire way, which totally surprised his parents. Jack chased a jack rabbit from one corner of a field to another and came back pretty excited about his adventure. The boys were happy to find that remants of their "dragon" still remain!
