Dad's Famous Waffles for breakfast and Dad's Famous Mashed Potatoes for dinner on the same day, Father's Day no less?!? Is it  proper to have the father of my children and grandfather of my grandchildren work so hard on his very own day? What if it was all his idea? Regardless, we all enjoyed every bite and made sure he felt very appreciated for his efforts. (Just for the record, I did make the requested baked chicken and rhubarb and strawberry rhubarb pies!)

Missed Photo Op: When Seth came downstairs looking for his cousins in the morning (they were all asleep by the time we arrived home from the airport) he had the biggest grin on his face. He and Curtis saw each other at the same time, and Seth grabbed Curtis' shoulders holding him close to his face. They put their forheads together and grabbed each other's shoulders and just stood their looking at each other and laughing. Didn't want to hug each other and didn't want to kiss each other, but they certainly created a bonding moment!
