Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

While the parentals did some shopping and went on a double-date lunch I was able to have all the grandkids to myself. After lunch we traced each one onto butcher paper for a fun way to "send" them to G&G Snider. They loved hearing stories about their great-grandparents while we were doing this. Then it was out to enjoy some swimming on another hot El Paso day.

In the meantime, Soren, Sven & Hyuna whip up a fabulous dinner for us!

And then we're off to a Diablos baseball game!

Curtis & Mitchell get their picure taken with the catcher after he hit a home run. Immediately after he let a pop fly fall right through his mitt. Ooops!

0 for 500 - throwing popcorn up and catching it in one's mouth

We hoped Kris would join us, and told him he would get to see the Diamond Girls, but it didn't work. He was happy to have us all out of his hair for a few hours!

The kids were done when the score looked like this and so we headed home. It was a lovely night for a ballgame.
