For Posterity

This clip is about as close as anything I can think of that might compare with a tax filing season:

I guess that means we are holding up pretty well considering Keven has survived 30+ filing seasons and I just finished my 11th. Recovery can take awhile....we may flop around like fish out of water for a day (or week) or two after.

The day following THE END we celebrated with a BBQ thanks to the genius and generousity of two men at our office who volunteered to grill up hamburgers for everybody. It only took about 2 seconds to decide that it was a great idea!

Maurice mixes it up. He had a special technique
that infused the burgers with wonderful seasonings.

Antonio minded the grill and fended off all the
people who came from the Great American Steakhouse (the
building across the street behind him) who could smell the beef.

Ron was kind enough to share his office because the conference
rooms weren't available.

Did I mention we had sauteed mushrooms & onions
and green chile to add to the yumminess?

And then there were those who seasoned up their beef jerkey with ketchup.
Can't quite get my tastebuds around that idea.

FSAR* - Clevelanders in El Paso

Ayrel and Ben landed in El Paso for a short time in March. Of course, Avery came along too. And Tofi. And Jackson. Guess how many pictures we have of Ayrel & Ben? Guess how many of Avery? Any of Tofi & Jackson? Guess who got left in El Paso?  Answers at the end of this post.

* Full Speed Ahead in Revearse

Avery thought it would be fun to eat something new - apples & squash!

Methinks she wasn't thrilled

She was much happier about playing at
Grandma Bobbi and Grandpa Rocky's...
because she could smash cookies into their rug....

(love that little belly!)
....and getting her hair brushed by Grandpa Rocky

....and learning how to do fancy things with Grandma Bobbi's phone

Of course, Kris looked for every opportunity
to play with her too!

Ooops, party's over

But only until we all got together for some good Argentine food

Speaking of food, Avery is a great source of entertainment when in her high chair

(she's ready for juggling lessons)

Hey, Kris is back in the picture!

♥♥♥

This picture makes me hungry
(and not because there's a cupcake in it)

Avery loved splashing and kicking her feet in the waterfall

See, even dinosaurs can't resist chewing on those toes!

Sigh ~ too cute for words
