So much rain fell last night that we had a lake in our front yard this morning and a very hot and muggy day to deal with.
Hmmmm......seemed logical to head off to the zoo....

Did I mention it was really hot?
Many of the animals did not want to come out, but we did get to see a baby zebra
and enough other animals to make it a fun day.
McDonald's was perfect for dinner,
followed by a home evening lesson on pioneers, treats and a movie.

it would be so much fun just to spend every day hanging out with the kids, doing kid stuff....too bad work happens :)
