A day for some quiet reading
An evening for Family (Fun) Home Evening
Team Gabe & Grandpa had the Ten Commandment wordstrips in order first -
Team Hyuna & Seth had the wordstrips glued onto their poster first.
That would mean a tie, right?
Draw the face of the person across from you without looking at your paper or taking the pencil off of the page ~
Now do it on a paper plate on top of your head!
Hurray for FHE treats!
(Alex: MIA from FHE because he was fast asleep on the couch)
After the sun went down Seth and Gabe jumped on their scooters and the three of us went for an evening promenade. It was a wonderful time to talk and visit with them.
Happy Independence Day!
Flag raising ceremony by the scouts
Cherry pit spitting contest - a new tradition is born!
Whipping up cupcakes
An hour before our BBQ we were informed that our new car was ready to be picked up.
Soooooo close to 200,000!
Adios to a great car
What - no picture of the new one? I guess we were too excited about all the good food we were eating to celebrate the 4th of July!
Can you tell Seth and Gabe are thrilled about me taking another picture?
Can you tell Alex loves it when I take his picture?
Finished results (photo by Alex)
$ store lanterns for our front walkway
Even though there is no longer a ward potluck dinner and carnival at the church we continue to enjoy the crowd that gathers in the evening for the firework display. This year's show was the best ever, and the boys ooohed and aaaahed throughout.
